Event description

Description

Origin Energy and WIMARQ invite you to join us for an evening of networking and hear from Tim Walsh, Qantas Australian Women’s Rugby Sevens Head Coach, as he discusses embracing diversity and creating a high performance culture.

Tim Walsh was appointed Qantas Australian Women’s Head Coach in September 2013 and led Australia to the first Sevens World Series title, before taking home Olympic Gold at the 2016 Games in Rio de Janeiro.

Tim is a strong advocate of diversity, using it to great advantage in the sporting arena. Tim sees diversity as essential for developing a high performance culture, where many parallels exist between the sporting and business context.

Tim will be joined on the night by Australian Sevens player Emma Tonegato OAM, who was part of the gold medal winning team at the 2016 Olympic Games and received the medal of the Order of Australia for service to sport in 2017.
