Join our Open Mic Night for adults and young adults to perform a range of music, comedy, theatre, poetry slams and more.

Come and show us your talent! Open Mic Night at Lionel Bowen Library is an on-going event where we invite the public (you!) to come and perform their talents, from comedy to singing, poetry to performance, all acts are welcome!

Summer is here, so come enjoy the longer evening light and warmer nights down at the Library, with our 'Summer Sessions' of Open Mic Night, held outside on our rooftop balcony (weather pending).


For performers: You must book a Performer Ticket and use this form to apply as a performer by Friday 20 February 2026. You will be notified the week prior if you're successful, please keep an eye out for our email.

Please note:

  • Must be 15 years old or above to attend and perform.
  • BYO instruments and equipment where possible.
  • No inappropriate or offense material to be performed.


For audience: Just book an Audience Ticket to enjoy the talents on display! Event may contain 15+ content, kids are welcome at the discretion of the parents.

  • Due to the safety and enjoyment of participants, we are unable to admit latecomers to the room after the start time.
