Open House – Shared Living with SIL Supports | Kambah, ACT

We’re opening the doors to Kambah House, and inviting participants, families, carers, and support coordinators to come and take a look.

Lumia Care, and JB care, a Lumia Care company, are hosting an Open House at one of our shared home environments where Supported Independent Living (SIL) supports are delivered, and we invite you to come and take a look.

This Open House is an opportunity for NDIS participants, families, carers, and support coordinators to explore the home, meet the team, and learn more about how SIL supports work in a shared living setting.

About the Home:
This shared home, known as Kambah House, is located in a quiet loop surrounded by mature trees, walking paths, and green spaces. The home offers a warm, welcoming environment designed to support comfort, independence, and everyday living.

The home includes 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, with one bedroom featuring its own private ensuite, along with shared living and kitchen spaces and a well-maintained front garden.

About the Home and Supports:
- Registered NDIS Supported Independent Living (SIL) provider
- 24/7 support delivered by skilled, trained staff
- Registered SSRC provider, enabling support for clients under 18 within our SIL homes
- Registered RP Provider, with varied levels of support available
- A shared home environment designed to support safety, comfort, and independence
SIL funding covers the support provided in the home. Rent and everyday living costs are paid separately, similar to any shared household.

What Life Looks Like in This Shared Home:
Everyone deserves a home where they feel comfortable, respected, and in control. In this shared living environment, each person has their own personal space, with support available based on individual needs and routines.
