Frequently asked questions

How to get to the event room?

After arriving at the Griffin Centre, 20 Genge Street, head into the elevator and go up to level 1. Then after exiting the elevator turn right and you will be outside the event room.

Will we provide lunch?

Unfortunately, we will not be providing lunch but we will have light refreshments such as tea, coffee, and fruit available throughout the workshop.

What facilities do you have for making my lunch?

We will have access to a fridge, sink and boiling water but no microwave, unfortunately.

Do you have access to bathrooms?

Yes there are bathrooms available on the same floor as the classroom

Do you have wheelchair accessibility?

The Griffin Centre has a lift to the classroom and the building is wheelchair friendly, there is also an accessible bathroom.

Can I bring my guide dog?

Yes, please advise us if you need a water bowl, as we have many!

Can I bring my support worker?

Yes, support workers and carers may attend and they do not need to register but friends or family will need to register as a participant.

Can I bring my kids?

Unfortunately not, this workshop is for women over the age of 18 only.
