The Standard MHFA Refresher Course can be offed either  face-to-face (4hrs) or on Line for 5hrs. This is the ONLINE format

REFRESH your MHFA Skills to support colleagues, friends & family members

  • This refresher course allows people who have completed Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) course to improve their knowledge and skills.

EXTEND your MHFA Accreditation for a further 3 years

  • For Accredited MHFAiders, this course offers an opportunity to extend their accreditation for a further 3 years.

In this course  you will  work through complex mental health first aid interactions & practice mental health first aid skills plus more.

Catherine is an experienced mental health professional, counsellor, educator and trainer with decades of experience working within a variety of sectors including mental health, tertiary education, & community organisations.   She draws from her wealth of experience and a diverse range of qualifications within the fields of Social Work, Education, Psychology & Mental Health

Previously Catherine worked extensively in the mental health sector in both inner-city & rural & remote locations.  Her experience extends across the life span working in child, adolescent, and adult mental health services both in the community and inpatient settings. Catherine has held senior mental health positions in a number of area health services
