These workshops are run throughout each teaching session and are primarily for undergraduate and postgraduate coursework students.Recordings of all Online Library Workshopsare available on the Library website. Using Library Databases

Library databases can be very useful but rather daunting, so join us to explore some of the search techniques and features that you can use, based on two of the Library’s main database platforms: EBSCOhost and Informit.
We’ll be discussing and/or demonstrating:
• the benefits of using Library databases
• the principles of online searching
• Boolean operators and search techniques
• creating folders and setting up alerts
• exporting citations to EndNote.
