Breastfeeding and Lactation Preparation Classes

During this 90 minute online session a Lactation Consultation will discuss breastfeeding, normal newborn feeding patterns in the first weeks of life, and strategies to assist you with this transition.

We talk about the advantages of breastfeeding, building and maintaining your milk supply, strategies for success, breastfeeding techniques, how to breastfeed comfortably and tips for partners.

Your partner or a support person are welcome to attend. There is no need to book a separate ticket for them.

When booking, please use the name on your medicare card (the same name as you are using at the hospital) and include your hospital number (UR number).

Please note: this class will incur a fee for Medicare Non-eligible patients.
