On Guard - Tour of Prospect Air Raid Shelter

In this one hour session, you'll descend into the original shelter and learn about the civil defence efforts during WW2 - from the critical role of Air Raid Wardens to the everyday resilence of ordinary citizens. Discover how families prepared their homes and coped with rationing. The tour includes a screening a 1941 film showing an authentic trainingdemonstration on Prospect Oval.
Please wear closed shoes. Note there are 13 steep steps to enter the Shelter. Suitable for adults and children above 12 years of age. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
$5 per person ($10 per family) to be paid in cash on the day.
