Nestled beneath the Plaza Hotel in the absolute heart of Sydney, Off The Record is your new post-work ritual. Presented by iD Comedy Club and Stand Up Sydney, this weekly comedy night is more than just a show — it’s an experience built on laughter, cocktails, vinyl, and curated vibes.
Set inside the intimate Record Room, just a 1-minute walk from Town Hall Station and directly across from Event Cinemas, it’s the easiest night out in the city.
Each week features a rotating lineup of Australia’s sharpest comedians — from underground killers to big-name drop-ins — backed by a DJ spinning vinyl before, during and after the show. It’s a curated mix of stand-up and lounge energy in one of Sydney’s coolest basement venues.
