Ocean Grove Nature Reserve Park Walk

Join a relaxing Parks Victoria volunteer-led walk through beautiful Ocean Grove Nature Reserve. Enjoy the peaceful natural surroundings, chat to fellow group members and spot some of the wildlife that call this park home.

You can join this walk as a once-off to explore somewhere new, or include it as a regular part of your wellbeing or fitness routine.

This Park Walk follows the Banksia Trail and is approximately 1.5hrs in duration and 3km in length. The trail starts at the second car park and takes visitors past the lake and through grassy woodland. Ancient Grass Trees and the endangered Bellarine Yellow Gum can be seen on the trail. Wildlife that can be observed on the trail includes wallabies, echidnas, lizards and birds including Yellow-tailed Black Cockatoos.

Please meet at the Ocean Grove Nature Reserve Information board, located next to the Visitors Centre carpark (which is the 2nd carpark inside the park). Please bring a water bottle, closed comfortable footwear and appropriate clothing for all weather conditions. There is a toilet at the Visitors Centre carpark.

• This event may be cancelled at the last minute due to extreme weather conditions.
• You will be emailed if the event is cancelled.
• In the event that your circumstances change and you are no longer able to attend, please cancel your ticket via Eventbrite so our volunteer guides are aware and do not wait for you to arrive. To cancel your order please follow the steps below.

1. Go to your order.Log in to your Eventbrite account. Then go to "Tickets" and click on your order.

2. Choose "Cancel Order".Desktop — Select 'Cancel Order" (next to your order details). Then choose “Yes, cancel this order".

Eventbrite app — Select the three-dot menu in the upper right corner and tap “Cancel order”.

3. Check for an email from Eventbrite.

The attendee and event organiser receive an email to confirm cancellation.
