Event description

Description

An industry focused panel discussion for designers, makers and thinkers to contemplate the viability of transformative repair.

Is transformative repair a response to problems of obsolescence and waste in product design? Does it have the potential to create an emergent service market for design and arts professionals?

Consider these questions and many more - hosted by ABC Sydney's Simon Marnie with Object Therapy curator and project designer, Guy Keulemans of UNSW Art & Design, silversmith Bridget Kennedy, and design repairers Henry Wilson and Naomi Taplin.

When: Wednesday 31 May, 6pm - 8pm
Cost: $10 plus booking fee
Venue: Australian Design Centre, 101-115 William St (corner of William and Palmer St), Darlinghurst

Object Therapy is part of ADC On Tour, the Australian Design Centre's national touring program. It is presented in partnership with Hotel Hotel and supported with funding from Visions of Australia, the Australian Government regional exhibition touring program.
