Get ready to experience O-Fest After Dark, where Monash students take over Chasers Nighclub for one unforgettable night! This is a must-attend event of Oreintation Week, bringing students together for an insane night of music, dancing, and immaculate vibes.


WARNING: Attending this event may cause new friendships, an unforgettable night, and the best start to your semester.

Expect an epic lineup of DJ's, including DJ Bronx, Emily Adelina, Joe Sephine, and Yaz - all of whom are going to keep the energy soaring all night long! With multiple levels, exclusive student drink specials, and plenty of surprises, this is the perfect way to kickstart your uni year. Whether you are here to dance, vibe with friends, or just soak in that nightclub energy, O-Fest After Dark at Chasers is your ticket to an unmissable O-Week Party!

Location: Chasers Nightclub, 386 Chapel St South Yarra.

  • Can Uber, park, or take public transport for ease of convenience
  • Closest ptv is the 78 tram down chapel st; or you're a 10 min walk from Prahran station


What to bring:

  • Valid form of ID - Australian legal standard; no exceptions
  • Wear whatever makes you feel good, but must include closed-toed shoes
  • Your digital ticker
  • Appropriate Monash/MSA+ ID if you've booked these tickets

    Cloak room available for $7 /item at the venue

When to arrive
Doors to OFAD 2026 open at 8pm you are free to begin lining up at 7:30pm for direct entry at 8pm - making sure you can access the QR code for your paid tickets (and bus wristbands) sent to your email address.

Please ensure your ID meets these requirements or you will not be permitted access to the event.

Buses:

We're running buses back to Clayton Campus! You must book this with your ticket, as spaces are strictly limited. If you have booked a bus ticket, you will need to be at the pickup spot 10 minutes before leaving (12:50am).

Buses will leave from outside the venue on Chapel St; or if traffic doesn't permit, they will leave from the corner of Commercial Rd. Our Volunteers will guide you on the night. At Monash, the drop-off point will be outside Robert Blackwood Hall. Please note that you will only be allowed to board the bus if you abide by all bus rules including seatbelts nad appropriate behaviour.


General itinerary of event:

  • Doors open: 8pm
  • Doors close: 12am
  • First bus leaves: 1am
  • Second bus leaves: 2am
  • Event concludes: 2am


Accessibility info:

  • O-Fest After Dark 2026 at Chasers Nightclub will feature strobe lighting, flashing visuals, loud music, and high-energy crowds.
  • There will be limited quiet spaces within the venue, and noise levels will be consistently high throughout the event.
  • If you are sensitive to bright lights, loud sounds, or crowded environments, please consider this before attending.
  • Earplugs are recommended for those sensitive to noise.
  • This event is located in a nightclub on Chapel Street. As such it will be loud, there will be lots of people, please consider this when purchasing a ticket.
  • The main room is on ground level; some areas of the nightclub require access by stairs or elevator. Staff will be available to assist
  • There will be a quiet space available for use at any time however this space will double as the First Aid area.
  • Our wonderful volunteers will be there on the night - look out for MSA Volunteer tees + lanyards
  • If you have any accessibility questions, requests or requirements, please email us and we will endeavour to provide accessible options for you.
  • Gender-neutral bathrooms are available at the venue


This is an 18+ event. Please bring a current & valid photo ID. The venue reserves the right to refuse entry. MSA encourages responsible consumption of alcohol.
