About this event

Welcome to the registration page for in-person events for our Brisbane STEM Hub

Please read the instructions below carefully before selecting your visits

*Please note that some visits will require proof of vaccination for you to attend. This is listed at the top of the ticket description.*

Step 1

Click on the ‘Register’ button to see and select the visits available in this state.

Step 2

Select the visits you would like to attend. Your selections will build in the summary pane on your screen. When selecting your visits please be aware of the following

  • Check the timings of the visits you are booking to ensure that you do not double book yourself or choose visits that you cannot travel between.
  • You will only be able to secure 1 ticket for each visit.
  • Some visits are repeated across multiple days to maximise the number of students who can participate – do not book for the same visit twice.
  • Many visits have a minimum number of attendees that must be reached for them to run. If this number is not reached activities may not go ahead.

Step 3

Once you are happy with your selection of visits, click on the ‘Register’ button at the bottom of the ticket page to confirm. You will be directed to enter your contact details. Please be sure to use the same email address as your NYSF application.

You will be sent an email confirmation from Eventbrite with tickets attached. You will not need these tickets to attend visits but make sure you keep your confirmation email.

Organised by

The National Youth Science Forum (NYSF) is a not-for-profit charity that delivers youth-led residential programs to encourage young people in their passion for Science Technology Engineering and Maths (STEM)

Our flagship program, the NYSF Year 12 Program, runs in January each year for students about to enter year 12. The program has run for 38 years and is one of the best-known STEM experiences in Australia for young people. It has helped over 13,000 alumni realise life-long STEM literacy.

The NYSF Year 12 Program is designed to give students a broader understanding of the diverse study and career options available in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) and to encourage continued studies in these fields.
