Glenn Caldwell, General Manager Destination Sydney Surrounds North (DSSN): The NSW Government has recently launched the Visitor Economy Strategy 2035 (VES2035), which provides a clear blueprint to grow annual visitor expenditure in NSW to $95 billion by 2035. Hear Glenn unpack the key strategic pillars of VES2035 and explore how the strategy will support the Newcastle region and deliver benefits for local stakeholders across the visitor economy.
Cr Declan Clausen, Chair of City of Newcastle's Strategy and Innovation Strategic Advisory Committee: Outlook for 2026 and plans for building on the strong activity and collaboration with operators over the last year. The update will highlight initiatives and always-on projects and activities, designed to keep Newcastle front of mind as a leading leisure and business events destination.
Georgia Lazzari, Destination & Economy Manager, City of Newcastle: Insights into upcoming campaigns and major projects, as well as opportunities for industry engagement that will help operators leverage the city’s growing profile and infrastructure investments.
