NSW Legislative Assembly Public Sector Seminar

A full-day seminar for public sector officers, providing practical information on the role and functions of the Legislative Assembly.

This opportunity will interest public sector officials involved in the legislative process, the provision of information to committee inquiries, or the preparation of Ministerial responses, including answers to written questions.

Following a welcome from the Speaker, participants will hear from a variety of presenters, including Members, staff from the Premier's Office, and the Clerks. Our speakers will offer their perspective on the parliamentary process, leaving participants with greater insight into the interaction between the Executive Government and the Legislative Assembly and the implications of that process for government departments and agencies.

Seminars are conducted on Parliamentary sitting days to enable participants to observe the Parliament at work.
