Jihad Dib is the NSW Minister for Customer Service and Digital Government, Minister for Emergency Services, Minister for Youth Justice, and the Member for Bankstown. He is a former member of the Australia Day Council of NSW, the NSW Police Commissioner’s Advisory Panel, and the SBS Community Advisory Committee, and served as a Commissioner on the NSW Community Relations Commission.

Throughout his career, Jihad has campaigned tirelessly for inclusion and the celebration of diversity in our society. His focus is on enhancing preparedness, inclusion, and innovation in frontline customer and emergency services; disaster response and recovery; digital transformation initiatives; and early intervention and diversion programs to enhance community safety and help young people break the cycle of reoffending. He believes in the principle of continuous improvement and the potential of each person to be a positive role model.
