Tell me more about Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra

We welcome the wonderful yogi Nikki Reed along for this part of the day.

Yin yoga is a slow, gentle form of yoga that is the perfect complement to a hectic, fast-paced life or intense workouts. Asanas are held for a few minutes at a time in various seated and reclined poses to access deeper layers of fascia, relieve tension, and support mindfulness.

Supports and bolsters provided. All bodies welcome.

Yoga Nidra is a form of guided meditation also known as “yogic sleep” or “effortless relaxation”. It’s usually practiced lying down.

The practice draws our attention inwards, and we learn to surf between the states of wakefulness and sleep, where our body finds its natural state of equilibrium (homeostasis) – the breath balances and becomes quiet, unconscious and conscious aspects of the mind reveal themselves, and we fall into an innate state of deep, blissful awareness.

Tell me more about Basket Weaving

Basket weaving is a mindful way to be creative and create with your hands.

We will use raffia, and weave in a coil style. No prior experience is necessary and all materials are provided.

You will be able to choose between several stitch styles, and create a basket, coaster, and/or earrings.

You will take home the skills needed to complete larger projects.
