Jane Canaway - Chief Operations Officer at DPV Health
Commencing as a Registered Nurse and Midwife in the 1990s, Jane has 20 years of experience working in Executive and leadership roles that have involved strategic and operations management in the government, community and health sector.

Since late 2021, Jane has held the role of Chief Operations Officer at DPV Health in Melbourne’s north, with accountability for a $70M service profile which includes family violence, mental health, allied health services, disability, aged care, children and family services and clinical services including general practitioners and public dental. Jane also serves as a Director on the Board of the Royal Women’s Hospital.


Professor Jo Barraket AM - Director, Melbourne Social Equity Institute
Professor Jo Barraket AM is Director of Melbourne Social Equity Institute at the University of Melbourne. She is Australia’s leading researcher of social enterprise, a long-term resident of Melbourne’s Inner North, and a current director of Inner North Community Foundation.

Jo is passionate about community-engaged and coproductive research in support of a fairer world. She conducts research that generates high quality research publications, as well as outputs – such as interactive online tools, policy and practice guides – which support the uptake and use of research knowledge. Jo is a regular advisor to governments, philanthropy and industry and has been national expert advisor to the OECD on three initiatives related to social procurement and inclusive employment through the social economy.


Sally Curtain - Chief Executive Officer - Bendigo Kangan Institute
Sally Curtain is an accomplished public sector senior executive with significant experience in leading transformational change across state and local government.

Prior to her appointment as Bendigo Kangan Institute’s Chief Executive Officer, Sally successfully led organisational and operational changes within diverse and complex public sector agencies. This included restructuring the former Department of Justice to better meet the needs of regional communities, creating new agencies such as the Independent Broad-based Anti-corruption Commission (IBAC), scaling up services to a burgeoning population in City of Casey, and operating as a regulator to modernise registration and licensing at Victoria’s largest service provider, VicRoads.

Registrations close at 5pm on Wednesday 28 February 2024.

What's the refund policy?

Registration fees are non-refundable however you may transfer your registration to another person. The full name and details of the person that will replace you must be advised in writing to the registration office prior to the Breakfast. No refunds will be made for non-attendance at the Breakfast.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

There is no need to bring your printed ticket to the event, we will mark your name off at the door.
