Description

Purpose of the EXPO/Forum

The EXPO is an opportunity for assessors, sector support services, service providers and invited guests to network, share learnings and for the exchange of information. The Forum aims to ensure that our members continue to be well-informed and confident within the new Aged Care environment.

Outcomes

  • An increased understanding of the range of CHSP service providers within the North Metro region.

  • Increased awareness of good practice, programs and services occurring across the region to assist in referral processes and build collaboration and partnership opportunities.

  • Support Alliance members to continue to work effectively within the reform environment.

  • Build collaborative, respectful engagement within the region to positively impact consumer experience.

  • Increased profile, understanding and engagement with the North Metro Community Care Alliance.

The EXPO will be open to visitors over two sessions:
1. Morning: 9am to 12pm
2. Afternoon: 1pm to 4pm
All visitors must attend the session time as registered due to venue capacity restrictions.
The EXPO will be closed between 12pm and 1pm for a lunch break.

EXHIBITORS/STALL HOLDERS

All Exhibitors must register via the above link. - NOTE STALL SPACE BOOKED OUT -

Exhibitors must also be confirmed members of the North Metro Community Care Alliance OR an approved sponsor. Membership is free and available to CHSP, HACC-PYP, and sector support services operating within the North Metro region. See our website for information on how to join at www.nmccalliance.org. If you would like to sponsor this event, please contact the Regional Development Coordinator at christinam@hwpcp.org.au or 0477 398 294 to discuss.

EXPO set up is between 8am and 9am. Tables and tablecloths provided. Bring your own banners, posters, pamphlets and other marketing material. Power available. Further details will be emailed following registration confirmation. NOTE: Each staff member assisting with your exhibit must be registered separately for the networking lunch.

PARKING

Parking available on site (600 spaces) for all EXPO particpants and visitors. Fees may apply.
Public Transport: a short 2-minute walk from the route 86 tram line, or 8-minute walk from the Bell train station on the South Morang line.

CANCELLATION POLICY

This is a free event provided to members of the North Metro Community Care Alliance. The Alliance is funded by the Commonwealth and State Governments to support sector development and change management within the North Metro region. Please note that the planning and running of this event incur considerable costs and places are limited. To ensure that our sessions run at full capacity, we ask that you consider your availability to attend before you complete your registration. A late cancellation fee will apply for no shows and for cancellations received less than 48 hours’ notice prior to the event. Note – An alternative delegate may be sent in your place if you are unable to attend. To request a cancellation or to make a change please send an email to the Event Planner at christinam@hwpcp.org.au.
