Welcome to the North Eastern Apiarists’ Association (Vic) Inc Annual Conference and Annual General Meeting 2024!

Join us at the Swanpool Cinema on Friday 3rd May for our Annual Conference and AGM.

We hope the program will appeal to you whether you keep 1 or 1000 hives.

The main two topics for discussion are 'Forest Management' & 'Beekeeping with Varroa Mite'.

We are excited to announce our guest speakers:

-Bertram Lobert, Ecologist: Forest management & the long term sustainability of the forest ecosystem.

-To be followed by an interactive discussion around the impacts of fuel reduction burning on commercial apiary operations.

-Lindsay Callaway, Warral Maldon: "Varroa; the good, the bad & the ugly" presentation of a recent study tour of New Zealand.

As well as updates from Agriculture Victoria, and more. The full agenda will be announced soon.
