Noosa Council is hosting a tourism and small business disaster resilience forum on 14 May, 2024 at The J. The event is designed to help local businesses get back to business sooner following a disaster or crisis.
The forum will run through key steps to business recovery and expert advice in applying for business recovery grants and insurance claims.
Designed for local tourism and small businesses as well as chambers of commerce and other agencies that assist small businesses, the forum will include an overview of Queensland Government’s Small business disaster hub website.
The evening will focus on:
- Where to go for disaster information and resources
- How to plan for and recover from disasters
- How to communicate with customers and suppliers following a disaster
- How to apply for small business disaster recovery grants
- Tourism operators sharing their disaster resilience experiences.
