Join Nikon School Lecturer and professional landscape photographer, Josh Beames, for an immersive 3-hour sunset to night photography workshop at Mt Buffalo. Designed for beginner to intermediate photographers, this session will guide you through capturing dramatic golden hour light, rich twilight colour, and atmospheric low-light scenes as day turns into night.

Under Josh’s guidance, you’ll learn how to adapt your approach as lighting conditions change, from warm sunset tones to cooler blue hour and early night photography. This hands-on class will cover essential camera settings, exposure control, white balance, focusing in low light, and creative composition techniques to help you confidently photograph landscapes after dark.

Whether you’re looking to build a strong foundation or refine your low-light skills, this workshop will help you make the most of every stage of fading light.

• A Mirrorless or DSLR camera
• Lenses for your camera (lens with a fast aperture f/2.8 or faster recommended)

• Warm clothing and sturdy footwear suitable for outdoor conditions
• A torch or headlamp
• Snacks and a thermos with a hot drink
• Optional: Remote shutter release
