About this event

This workshop is a must for any Astrophotography enthusiast.

Join Nikon Creators Will Eades and Josh Beames, for an unforgettable astrophotography experience as you photograph the awe-inspiring night sky at the salt flats and perfect reflections of Lake Tyrrell, Victoria.

Both Will and Josh are accomplished astrophotographers and Nikon Creators with a deep passion for capturing celestial wonders. Together along with a local guide, they will take you on a journey through the mesmerizing world of capturing the night sky with your camera. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced photographer, this course will provide you with valuable insights, techniques, and inspiration to enhance your astrophotography skills.

Derived from the Aboriginal word “Tyrille” meaning sky or space – Lake Tyrrell offers some of the most spectacular, dark, and clear views of the night sky. The 120,000-year-old lake is regarded as one of the best places in Australia for stargazers.

Recommended Skill Level:

  • Beginner to Intermediate.
  • A degree of physical fitness is required due to walking on uneven, potentially muddy terrain. We advise against enrolling if you have mobility issues.
