Event description

Description

Are you working in the medical and health space and planning to apply for a NHMRC grant in the next few years?

While the NHMRC grant scheme has undergone some changes (these changes impact applications for the year 2019), the key elements will still remain critically important – a research idea that is innovation and significant and a complementary research team with a strong track record, among other things.

This session will explain the NHMRC current grants schemes, the elements of successful proposal and what peer reviewers look for. You will hear from successful grantees and be able to discuss your research idea with a group of peers.

Prerequisite: In order to make this session a valuable one for you please prepare a short one page research idea (describing aim, significance and innovation) and send it to Research Services (research@canberra.edu.au) by Thursday 7 December 2017.
