🌸 Bush Flower Gathering – On Country 🌿

Join us on Wednesday 4 March 2026 for a beautiful morning on Country as we gather bush flowers and reconnect with the land.

🕙 10:00am – 12:00pm
📍 Mount Isa region (meeting point at the office first, 53 Barkly Highway, Miles End)

This gentle, guided activity is about slowing down, observing what’s growing around us, and learning about native bush flowers — their cultural significance, seasonal cycles, and connection to healing and wellbeing.

Together we will:
🌼 Walk on Country with respect
🌿 Learn about native plants and flowers
🧡 Yarn about culture, healing, and women’s knowledge
🫖 Share time together in a relaxed outdoor setting

Delivered by Sara Norway, Program Coordinator – Ngurru Mirrka Women’s Program

All women are welcome. Bring a hat, water bottle, and comfortable walking shoes.

Come walk with us and experience the beauty of Country in bloom. 💛🖤❤️
