Event description
New Normal Signals: Federal Government ICT and Digital Priorities in 2021-22

About this event

A super-charged spending environment is set to continue as the government aims to kick-start the economy, drive growth and enable business success through ICT.

At their 11th annual Budget Briefing Intermedium will explore what’s in store for Australian Government digital investment and how to most effectively position your strategy this budget year.

Intermedium expects significant ICT spending to continue in the 2021-22 budget year, with Treasurer Josh Frydenberg promising significant investment in digital technologies.

Our early budget assessment indicates that the 2021-22 Federal Budget will contain more high spending on job growth and business enablement, as well as significant investment towards digital transformation at the Whole-of-Government level mandated by the reformed Digital Transformation Agency.

Intermedium’s detailed analysis will examine the significant ICT implications of the budget, including:

• Where the meaningful opportunities lie

• Detailed assessment of the procurement landscape

• The challenges facing agencies as they compete for resources

• How BAU funding and activities are likely to be impacted

• Which agencies have received the most New Policy Proposal funding

Join us at the 11th annual Intermedium Federal Budget Briefing and gain key insights into how to most effectively respond to this super-charged ICT environment.
