ABOUT THIS EVENT
Not all pregnancies or births feel safe, empowering, or healing.
And even as time passes, many mothers continue to carry the impact in their bodies and nervous systems.
Holding the Birth That Was is a monthly support circle for new mums who experienced a difficult, overwhelming, frightening, or disappointing pregnancy or labour.
You can attend once — or return over multiple months.
Each session stands alone.
There is no expectation to share your full story or to have moved on.
WHAT THIS SPACE OFFERS
This monthly circle provides space to:
• Gently acknowledge your experience
• Be witnessed without being fixed
• Understand the nervous system after birth
• Explore safety and regulation in the postpartum body

Sharing is always optional.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Each monthly session is gently facilitated and may include:
• Grounding and nervous system settling practices
• Trauma-aware psychoeducation around birth and stress
• Optional sharing or reflection
• Quiet moments for integration
• A supportive close to help you re-enter your day
You will never be asked to relive or retell details unless you choose to.

• Want informed, compassionate support from a midwife and therapist
