New Horizons artist talk and lunch with Glenn Barkley

Meeting to award the 2026 mentorship and art commission to a student in New Horizons.

You are invited to an artist talk and lunch with Glenn Barkley prior to the opening of New Horizons on Saturday 21st February 2026. Glenn will be the artist leading the mentorship and will be selecting one student from the New Horizons exhibition to mentor as they create a new artwork for the Education Hub.

The talk and lunch will run from 11am to 1.30pm. Beginning with a meet and greet, Glenn will speak about his art practice before heading into the gallery where he will discuss your artwork and future artistic plans with you. Then everyone will have lunch, catered by Blak Cede, where there will be time to chat with Glenn and your fellow exhibitors. After this Glenn will select an artist to award the mentorship and commission to and this will be announced at the exhibition opening from 2pm.
