Event description

Description

Are you looking to grow or diversify your retail or professional services business - there are opportunities at night.

Or are you keen to increase or introduce live music and performances at your venue?

The City of Sydney has new grants that can help you do this.

Join us at an information session and hear how these grants can support your business. You’ll also be able to speak with City of Sydney staff about your application.

The grants are available for retail and other professional services businesses to establish or increase their range of business activities or events at night.

The grants are also available for local venues and businesses wanting to make improvements or boost their live music programming.

They’re all part of our commitment to support a diverse Sydney at night and a strong live music and performance industry. The first round of applications is now open.

Funding available

  • Night-time diversification – matched grant up to $30,000 for 1 or 2 years for programming at night (6pm to 6am) to encourage increased variety of offerings in commercial precincts.

  • Live music and performance – matched grant up to $30,000 for venue improvements to grow and enhance the quality and quantity of programming.

The event is free but bookings are essential. You can also read more about the program.

Our speakers are:

Jeremy Kelshaw, Manager Grants

Libby Harris, Night Time City Manager

Hugh Nichols, Strategy Advisor – Live Music and Performance
