About this event

In celebration of Respect at Uni Week and Neurodiversity Celebration Week, we invite you to join us for an extraordinary event featuring the sensational Chloé Hayden—award-winning speaker, actor, bestselling author, and disability rights activist.

Diagnosed with autism and ADHD at the age of thirteen, Chloé has inadvertently built a global community that transcends borders, reaching over a billion views. With a platform of over half a million followers and global tours, Chloé captivates audiences globally, inspiring change and advocating for a future where everyone has an equal chance to thrive.

From collaborating with high-profile organisations to working with The Australian Paramedics, the Australian education system, Screen Australia, and the Australian Government, Chloé is prompting change at every level. Chloé's podcast, "Boldly Me," presented by Nova Podcasts, amplifies voices and breaks down barriers, promoting inclusion in the community.

Chloé also plays Quinni in Netflix’s Heartbreak High, making history as Australia’s first mainstream autistic actress, breaking barriers, and raising awareness about the importance of authentic representation.

As part of our commitment to fostering inclusivity and embracing diversity at Deakin, we aim to contribute to these important campaigns and create an environment where everyone feels valued and respected.

Join us for an unforgettable event as Chloé Hayden shares her journey, spreads awareness about neurodiversity, and inspires us all to celebrate differences!

Note that this will be in person and online! Please specify your ticket type when registering.
