What is Toastmasters?

Toastmasters is a worldwide nonprofit organization that helps people improve their public speaking, communication, and leadership skills in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Do I have to speak at my first meeting?

No, not at all! Guests are welcome to just observe. If you’d like, you may introduce yourself briefly, but participation is entirely up to you.

Is this event suitable for beginners?

Absolutely! Many of our members joined Toastmasters with little or no public speaking experience. The program is designed to support all skill levels.

What should I bring to the meeting?

Just yourself and a willingness to learn! Many people bring a notebook and pen to jot down tips and ideas. You can dress comfortably or in business casual. It's up to you.

Do I need to register before attending?

We encourage registration so we know you’re coming, but you’re also welcome to just show up on the night. Doors need to be opened from the inside, so it's best to register or come by 6.45pm so we can let you in.
