Our Fishing Day is all about connection, confidence, and getting outdoors. Participants will enjoy a relaxed and supportive social outing while learning basic fishing skills, patience, and teamwork. Whether you’re a seasoned angler or trying fishing for the first time, this day is about having fun and making memories together.

Perfect for participants who enjoy outdoor activities and social group experiences.

Time: 9:00am – 1:00pm
Duration: 4 hours
Location: 29 Burnett St, Sadliers Crossing

Participants will enjoy a 4-hour social fishing outing, building friendships, developing outdoor skills, and spending time in the community, + Travel Time.

NDIS Costs

NDIS rate: $70.23 per hour

This activity includes:

• 4 hours face-to-face support (including travel time)
• 1 hour non-face-to-face admin time
• Capital Centre Costs: $2.59 per hour per participant

Calculation:
(4-hour activity + 1 hour admin = 5 hours total billed time ÷ number of participants + Capital Centre costs.)

5 hours × $70.23 = $351.15 total

Minimum group size: 4 participants

$351.15 ÷ 4 = $87.79 per participant (support & admin cost)

Capital Centre Costs:
4 hours × $2.59 = $10.36 per participant

Approximate total NDIS cost per participant:
$87.79 + $10.36 = $98.15

1:1 support is billed separately if required.

Out-of-Pocket Costs

$5 per participant

This covers bait and basic fishing consumables.

Who Can Join

NDIS participants aged 16+ who enjoy outdoor activities, social connection, and building confidence in a supportive group setting.
