NDIS Explained: Drop-in sessions with LAC Carer's QLD
Opportunity to chat one on one with NDIS local area coordinator from Carers Queensland.
Meet a local area coordinator (LAC) from Carers Queensland as the Partner in The Community with the NDIS and learn about options available to support your National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) journey, connect with your community, and find other supports that are available.
These brief, one-to-one conversations can get you started or guide you in the right direction. As a NDIS participant, you can ask us anything about your funding, getting the most out of your plan, finding and working with service providers, and utilising the myplace online portal.
If you're not on the Scheme but would like to be linked to services, supports and activities within your community, we can assist you.
Please note: These are brief, one-to-one conversations, so no appointment or booking is required. However, during busy times, there may be a short wait as we assist participants individually. We appreciate your patience.
All Carers are welcome!
And if you’d like to bring a friend, you’re most welcome to do that too.
RSVP and additional info:
Register on Eventbrite or email your Hub Navigator: NambourCGHub@wellways.org
If you're not yet registered with Carer Gateway we can can help you access support.
Please note: These sessions are especially for people who provide unpaid care to family members or friends, as recognised under the National Carer Recognition Act. This means the sessions are not suitable for paid carers, support workers or service providers, unless you also provide care for someone personally outside of your professional role.
