This class is designed to help participants build independence in the kitchen, develop safe food preparation skills, and gain confidence following recipes step-by-step. Everyone will be actively involved in preparing their own meal in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Time: 11:00am – 12:30pm
Duration: 1.5 hours
Location: 29 Burnett St, Sadliers Crossing
Participants will prepare a classic beef lasagne using an air fryer while learning practical cooking skills they can recreate at home.
NDIS Costs
NDIS rate: $72.88 per hour
This activity includes:
- 1.5 hours face-to-face support
- 1 hour non-face-to-face admin time
- Capital Centre Costs = $2.59 per person per hour
Calculation:
(1.5-hour activity + 1 hour admin = 2.5 hours total billed time ÷ number of participants.)
Minimum group size: 3 participants
2.5 hours × $70.23 = $175.58 total
$2.59 x 1.5 hours = $3.885
$175.58 ÷ 3 participants = Approx. $58.53 per person + $3.89(approx) per participants
Total Costs approx. $62.72 per person
1:1 support is billed separately if required.
Out-of-Pocket Costs
$10 per participant
This covers all ingredients and cooking materials for the session.
