Where is the event hosted?

Full event location details are included in your order confirmation and reminder emails once registered – check your junk email. Eventbrite only shows the suburb as a general guide. This helps prevent unregistered attendees from turning up on the day.

Can I make group bookings?

Our events are specialised activities with limited capacity, often offering only 4 to 5 spots per session. For this reason, we DO NOT ACCEPT large group bookings, as they carry a higher risk of cancellation, can result in increased costs for the City, and may limit access for the broader community.

Do I need a ticket for adult guardians/supervisors?

Yes all participants including children and supervisors need tickets to attend due to venue capacities.

Can I book children on adult tickets?

No, we have a set amount of children's tickets on offer due to event space, resourcing and any craft components etc. Any bookings on these ticket types will automatically be cancelled.

The session is booked out, can I still join?

Our sessions are popular with capped numbers for safety and space reasons. You need to register and secure all spots required to attend. Please do not book unless you can secure all spaces. If the event is booked out, you will be notified of an open space. A waitlist will automatically open for you.

Overview

Join our free NaturallyGC workshop! Learn about pollinators and make your own seed balls to grow bee attracting flowers.

Explore our amazing native pollinators we have in our gardens and local neighbourhoods, and the important role they play in our environment! Learn about native stingless bees including solitary bees like Blue Banded, Teddy Bear, Leaf Cutter and Fire Tail Resin bees just to name a few.

Kids will get to see a stingless native beehive up close through a viewing panel, and if lucky you'll spot the Queen! This workshop includes making your very own native plant seed ball!

Best suited for children ages 5-9 years and children must be supervised at all times
There will be live native bees at this event
This is an indoor, fully accessible event

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept large group bookings or vacation care groups.

TICKET REGISTRATION
You must secure a ticket for all children and supervising adults attending. If you can't secure all the ticket types you require at the time of registration please do not book. Each workshop is set to a maximum capacity. Do not book children on adult tickets.
