Where is the event hosted?

Full event location details are included in your order confirmation and reminder emails once registered – just scroll down to find them. Eventbrite only shows the suburb as a general guide. This helps prevent unregistered attendees from turning up on the day.

Will the event still proceed in rain?

Yes, the event will still go ahead in light rain or patchy showers. A final call is made no later than 1.5 hours before the event, so please make sure you check your emails beforehand to confirm.

Can I make a group booking of more than 5?

Yes, for some of our Landcare events we have the capacity to make group bookings where we have space to accommodate. Please email naturallygc@goldcoast.qld.gov.au with your enquiry and the team can advise which session may suit.

The session is booked out, can I still join?

Landcare volunteering is really popular, so our sessions have capped numbers for safety and space reasons. You’ll need to register and secure a spot to attend. If the event fills up, a waitlist will automatically open for you to join.

Overview

Protect, restore, and enhance our natural areas with NaturallyGC Landcare

Join the City of Gold Coast and the Austinville Landcare Group for an immersive bush regeneration session at Austinville Conservation Area. This hands-on workshop offers participants the opportunity to learn essential bush restoration techniques and weed identification skills.

A Natural Areas Council bush regenerator will be on-site to help guide the event.

If you enjoy being outdoors, being part of a community, and would like to make a difference to our natural environment then this event is for you. No experience is necessary to join.

VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION
Spaces are limited. You must register and secure a ticket for all volunteers attending. If you can't secure a spot you require at the time of registration please do not book. Each session is set to a maximum capacity.
