Event description

Description

Part of Albury/Wodonga sustainability week, this is a unique opportunity to learn about and taste native produce (bushtucker) grown on the border. We will start with a casual tour of Bunyip Hollow farm with there extensive collection of edible native plants. You will learn about the history of the property and it's conservation of billiabong with endangered wildlife. You will see how they operate there small organic farm including rare breed sheep, pigs, small vineyard, truffiere etc. You then will spend time learning about indigenious foods from what is believed to be the most extensive collection of bushtucker plants in Australia.

We will finish by having a casual lunch provided by chef Jodie Jones from Ebden and Olive utilising native ingredients.
