Description
The centrepiece of the Emerging Writers’ Festival, the National Writers’ Conference is the place to be for emerging writers hungry to hear from leaders in the field, develop their skills, and meet other excited word-nerds.
This year’s timetable is packed – with over seventy speakers presenting contemporary cultural perspectives and providing resources for all working writers, the Conference features panels, conversations, and performances, allowing you meet writers from around Australia.
The conference features our EWF Ambassadors, five established writers who will share their knowledge and experience over the course of the weekend. The 2017 Ambassadors are Melina Marchetta, Anna Krien, Inga Simpson, Michelle Law, and Rebecca-Anne Do Rozario.
Taking place over two days, writers can purchase a conference pass for the entire weekend, or day passes for each separate day of the conference.
