National Recycling Week: Composting workshop
Do you have a green thumb? Are you looking at ways to manage your food and garden waste at home? Want to make your home garden flourish?
This year’s National Recycling Week theme is ‘What goes around comes around’. To celebrate, we’re hosting a jam-packed session at Bellfield community gardens.
Learn about all the tips and tricks to make great compost. Find out more about different containers, worm farming and bokashi buckets. You will be surprised how much you can reduce your waste by diverting your kitchen scraps from landfill.
Then take a tour of the Bellfield community gardens to see firsthand how your garden can benefit from compost.
