National Reconciliation Week, 27th May to 3rd June 2022, is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.
This years theme 'Be Brave. Take Change.' is a challenge to all Australians - individuals, families, communities, organisations and government - to Be Brave and tackle the unfinished business of reconciliation so we can Make Change for the benefit of all Australians.
To celebrate National Reconciliation Week, Hunter Primary Care staff are invited to attend an interactive Australian native edible flora experience with local organisation Oz Tukka. They will introduce and discuss a mix of dried and fresh native edible flora products, and give attendees the chance to smell and taste each product. Staff can then enjoy a finger food lunch catered by Numa Ngarra.
