National Reconciliation Week - community art workshop
Try your hand at dot or conventional painting with Aboriginal artist Nikki Carrabetta-Baugh and local artist Peter Baka.
Join us for a two hour workshop to help create art installations to raise awareness to the Aboriginal and Torres strait Islander cultures in celebration of National Reconciliation Week 2026
You will paint pre-cut MDF A4 size outback animals or birds using either dot painting or conventional art styles.
This art installation is based on Dreamtime story 'How mother Kangaroo got her pouch' by Rebecca Beetson.
- All resources provided. Bring your own brushes if you have favourites.
- We will have images for reference if required.
- Suitable for age 14 years and over.
