Join us for a fun and informative tour of the National Carillon - see you there!

Explore the inside of the iconic National Carillon, Canberra’s most photographed building. One of our carillonists will lead you through the building, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the instrument and even have a chance play some of the largest bells in Australia.

Learn about the rich history and striking architecture of this heritage-listed building. Touch the bronze bells, try the carillon keyboard, and enjoy a live musical demonstration – all while appreciating one of the best views in Canberra.

Tour details:

Bookings: tours are ticketed, and bookings are essential.

Duration: approximately 45 minutes.

Weather: please wear suitable clothing – part of the tour is outdoors, and it can be windy in the bell chamber.

Accessibility: tours are not currently wheelchair accessible due to the emergency evacuation procedures.
