Event description

Description

NAIDOC Week is an annual celebration of the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

This NAIDOC Week we are celebrating with a yarnbombing installation at Preston Library. Everyone is welcome to contribute to this community project by creating a knitted or crocheted piece. You’ll find everything you need to know in our Yarnbombing Kit.

Please register so we can send you the link to the downloadable Yarnbombing Kit and to receive an update or two as the project progresses. If you prefer to register in person and collect a printed kit, pop into one of our branches.

Darebin Libraries uses Eventbrite for all event bookings. When booking with Eventbrite individuals will be required to provide their name and contact details. Eventbrite’s privacy policy can be found at the Privacy link located at the bottom of this page.
