About this event

Join us at Albany Creek Library on Saturday 25 May at 2:00PM for a fun and creative event where you get to play with our huge stash of earring findings to create 3 unique pairs of earrings to take home on their own display cards.

Who is this workshop for?

This hands-on workshop is perfect for beginners who would like to learn the basics of connecting jewellery findings or those who fancy a relaxing and creative morning. This workshop is available to participants aged 16 and over.

I will show you the tools you need to connect jump rings and how to choose the best earring hooks for your design. This is a no-mess workshop as all of the findings are made for you, they just need your keen eye to put them together!

What is included?

I provide all materials and instruction and light refreshments for morning tea. You will come away with 3 pairs of earrings that you have designed and constructed from our significant collection of pre-made earring findings.

  • Please let me know ahead of time if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies.
  • I will be taking photographs during the session. Please let me know if you do not want to appear in social media.

What is your refund policy

We understand that things come up. Please notify us 24 hours prior if possible (via text or email). We can provide credit to you and your guests for 6 months. You can also transfer your ticket, please just let us know if there is a name change

What do the earrings look like?

We have a range of new findings and also use new 304 Stainless steel earring pins. This is the most hyper-allergenic option and we source these from a trusted Australian provider to ensure they are genuine. Check our social media for pictures of the earring deco. There is something for everyone.

What is a crafternoon?

It was so hard choosing a name for my business as the words ‘craft’ ‘art’ ‘painting’ etc all come with their own images in our head. Crafting for many, conjures up images of paddle pop sticks or scrapbooking paper. Art is something we think only artists can make or it makes people stressed that what they create is not good enough. A lot of people also feel to paint, draw or sculpt you need to be an expert.

I want to change these views by making creating fun and something everyone feels safe to do. At Crafternoons with Kirst we offer workshops for a variety of people to explore different creative mediums. It is my aim for everyone who attends my workshops to take away:
