Myco Logic workshop

This project has been assisted by the Australian Government through the Australia Council, its arts funding and advisory body.MYCO LOGIChas been developed with consumer and carer advocates, and the Recovery Services team at Cumberland Hospital (WSLHD, NSW Health). The exhibition and workshop venue has been supported by Property NSW and Exhibition 1 is presented as part ofThe Big Anxiety Festival, Mental Health Month and National Carers Week.MYCO LOGICand its workshops are facilitated by arts educator and visual artistELIZABETH DAY. <DIV CLASS="_1mf _1mj"><SPAN><SPAN>No prior skills are necessary as sessions will include demonstrations of how anything can be used to "draw" in three dimensions but we would love any keen crafters to come and share their skills in this creative exchange. Materials will be provided but we welcome participants bringing their own knitting, crocheting, weaving, modelling or other crafts relevant to their cultural background. </SPAN></SPAN></DIV>

<DIV CLASS="_1mf _1mj"><SPAN><SPAN>Workshops are free and open to anyone in the community whose lives have been impacted by mental illness. <SPAN CLASS="_4n-j _fbReactionComponent__eventDetailsContentTags fsl">Workshops aim to reconnect participants with their creativity, and mobilise creative exchange to foster connections and help build support networks between participants.</SPAN></SPAN></SPAN></DIV>
