ABOUT US:

The Canberra Embodied Dance Collective monthly dance offering is a safe and supportive space to express, release, and experience joy through movement.

Each dance has a different theme and a different facilitator, BUT every dance will be a safe space to explore movement within a dynamic dance community.

MORE ABOUT THE DANCE:

These dances are lovingly curated to take you on a journey which peaks and brings you gently back down again. The purpose of this dance is to simply let go and let your body move you.

You may find yourself focusing on one part of your body, wanting to connect your body with the floor, or dance with another person (consensually!) You may wish to sit out or lie down and rest. You may feel emotion moving through you.

Whatever is intrinsically and authentically emerging from within is what we are opening up to and creating space for. Uninhibited movement is encouraged, whilst being respectful of others in the space.

The Collective members are Holly Brocklebank, Marisa Cartland, Keren Huggett, Zoe Konovalov and Peter Elliot
