Masterclass with APSA’s Music in Film International Juror Sneha Khanwalkar, composer of film scores and music director from India.
Sneha Khanwalkar is the internationally celebrated composer and musical director behind Indian APSA-winning epic Gangs of Wasseypur (2012) and Manto (2018) starring Indian screen legend Nawazuddin Siddiqui, an APSA nominee this year for his performance as famed writer Saadat Hasan Manto. She is also the host of MTV India’s Sound Trippin’. Sneha Khanwalkar made history as just the second woman in history, and the first in nearly three decades, to be nominated for music at India’s biggest film prize, the Filmfare Awards.
At this exclusive event, Sneha Khanwalkar will discuss her work and perform her award-winning music. This is a rare opportunity to hear from one of the world’s most accomplished film music practitioners.
