A shared musical experience for parents, babies and toddlers! Make your home a Music House!

About This Event:

Join Tito as he explores the many ways that families can make connections through shared musical experiences. Families with children 8 months to 5 years will learn how to engage and interact with their children musically, helping to create a Music House!

Each week, you will explore ways to engage your child through music using a range of techniques such as call and response exercises, jazz scatting, hand clapping, using instruments and active listening. You will learn new techniques and songs from around the globe to help develop your musical confidence to include these into your everyday routine!


Bookings essential as our spaces and instruments are limited. Book now to reserve your spot!


Cost: Free

Age: 8 months - 5 years old

Experience: None required

Equipment: All music and instruments will be provided


About the Facilitator:

Tito Espinosa is a songwriting, guitar playing, record producing, music/film/art nerd from New York City! His love of playing, listening to, and teaching music has helped him forge countless collaborative opportunities and he’s played an equally countless number of gigs in and around New York City, Sydney, and wherever else it is that he and his guitar find themselves! For years he performed as “Chorizo Slim and The Boogie Blues Band” and now he releases music through his small label “Boogie Strange Records”.

Terms and conditions:

  • For participants aged 10 years and under, parents and/or guardians of children must remain in the library for the duration of the program. For safety reasons, one parent/guardian can only be responsible for a maximum of 4 children (1:4 ratio).
  • For participants under the age of 16, parent and/or guardian contact details must be provided at the time of booking.
  • If you arrive more than 10 minutes after the advertised start time and there are people in the standby queue, your ticket may be allocated to the standby queue.
  • If you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration at least 3 hours prior to the event. As Library Programs have limited spaces, repeated failure to notify staff of cancellations may result in bookings being refused in the future.
