Municipal Building Control Plan Update and Swimming Pool Registration Offence Dates

Russell Kennedy Lawyers are preparing a template municipal building control plan for use in relation to council statutory building control functions. This session will provide an overview of the proposed structure and content of the municipal building control plan and the suite of documents that will comprise the plan.

The VMBSG assisted by Russell Kennedy Lawyers, recently identified a number of shortcomings in the Building Regulations 2018 (Vic) (Regulations) in relation to offence dates within Part 9A (swimming pool and spa regulations) of the Regulations. Please join us to discuss these issues and the potential solutions which have been identified and which have been put to the Minister.
