Mums and bubs pottery workshop
A calming, baby-friendly workshop for new mums,and dads.
Connect, create and enjoy mindful moments and take home a forever keepsake ceramic footprint of your baby.
Dads, partners, grandparents or a support person are encouraged to come along to join in or support.
No experience needed, just bring your baby aged 6 weeks to 6 months – pre-crawlers.
What to expect:
- A gentle, creative experience hand-building with clay
- Pieces are pre-prepared and finished off by Saskia
- Facilitated by a qualified health professional, Midwife and Maternal Child and Family Health Nurse with lived and professional experience supporting families
- All materials provided
- Wear clothes you don’t mind getting a little clay on
- Your ceramic creations will be taken to fire in a kiln and returned to the Gallery for you to collect at a later date.
About Saskia:
Saskia is a registered midwife and ceramic artist with a deep passion for nurturing both parents and creativity. Living locally, she has supported countless new parents on their journey and understands the importance of gentle, enriching experiences in early parenthood.
